Sutton Village School serving children in grades K - 8 is seeking three teachers to join our 1st-4th grade team for the 2026/2027 school year. We hire dynamic inquisitive candidates committed to collaborative teaming. Experience with structured literacy UFLI workshop model POA/PNOA positive behavior interventions and Responsive Classroom are a priority. Interest in project based and outdoor learning is preferred. We seek creative passionate teachers who love children and with their team will provide a strong foundation to our intermediate students. A sense of humor and genuine love for working with young people is a necessity. The individual will be part of a team including other grade level teachers special educators and interventionists. The district provides mentorship and a supportive administration. The pay range for this position is $44232-$86232. Sutton School is part of the Kingdom East School District located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have choice and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choosing. We are located about 3 hours from Montreal Boston and Portland ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing hiking mountain biking fishing canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton NH and St. Johnsbury VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues.
