We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers counters to branded packaged meat all as part of our service; raised on open pastures sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.
We are currently recruiting for an Intakes Manager to work in our busy fast paced Intakes Department in Kepak Merthyr Tydfil. This is a full time permanent position Monday to Friday with a competitive salary.
Role Purpose
- Organise the storage and distribution of product to meet customer requirements.
- Manage stock rotation warehousing and monitoring the flow of product.
- Understand the whole supply chain to coordinate distribution from site effectively and liaise with production managers internal stakeholders and some customers.
- Manage the forklift fleet budget ensuring spend is controlled across hire maintenance repairs and replacement.
- Drives operational excellence across the Intakes team by promoting a culture of continuous improvement across people product and process
- Leads by example in promoting a positive inclusive work culture with an emphasis on health safety wellbeing and personal and professional development.
