Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager (mfd)

About the Role

• Supervise the correctness of postings and assignments in accordance with the Groups guidelines local GAAP and IFRS. Manage daily finance activities including monthly closing process including submission of Group IFRS Reporting on monthly quarterly and yearly basis
• Oversee the preparation of financial statement and reports ensuring adherence to accounting standards internal controls and regulatory requirements. Provide detailed analysis of financial performance and variances
• Handle the year-end closing and audit process. Work closely with auditors to ensure compliance during audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Manage the correctness of statutory tax (VAT and CIT) and regulatory reporting. Including closely cooperation with our external and internal accounting providers as well as HQ
• Steer VAT EU reporting and are responsible for TP reporting and WHT management
• Support the Finance Director Europe East in accounting and reporting responsibilities for the Europe East region

About You

• 5-8 years of relevant experience and prior experience as an individual contributor
• Proven accounting experience in a subsidiary of an international group with similar level of responsibility
• Strong polish GAAP and IFRS knowledge and familiar with reporting under IFRS
• Thrive in a busy environment with focus on meeting deadlines
• Ability to work with new ERP and reporting systems experience with excel
• Good communication skills and an excellent team player
• A good command of English and Polish at minimum B2 level
