Role Overview

The Account Executive Expert (IAE) is a senior account leader assigned to key customers within Queensland. You will drive strategic customer engagement leading innovation adoption global software and cloud growth renewals and ensuring end-to-end customer satisfaction and referencability throughout the customer lifecycle.

You will orchestrate all SAP parties around a single clearly articulated 3 year joint innovation roadmap and lead consultatively by shaping clients digital transformation roadmaps.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Orchestrate and lead execution of account strategy across:
    • Software and Cloud solutions
    • Renewals and Services
    • Support/Maintenance
    • Partners and Channels (including OEM)
  • Drive incremental revenue and prime quota attainment within the assigned customers
  • Align SAPs Virtual Account Team to deliver on business outcomes
  • Ensure three critical elements are in place: four-panels customer-jointly committed multi-year roadmap and associated account strategy with annual plan

Digital Transformation & Business Development

  • Create and execute 3 year Digital Transformation roadmaps
  • Complete long-term business strategy planning and create SAP-enabling innovation agendas with customers
  • Shape clients digital strategy through executive messaging and demonstrating SAP relevance
  • Push customer thinking and provide new perspectives on their business and competitive positioning

Relationship Management & Governance

  • Develop and maintain long-term C-level relationships
  • Create and manage strong joint SAP-customer governance models
  • Ensure SAP-assigned executive sponsors are appropriately engaged
  • Drive bi-directional collaboration through Strategic Customer Engagement Model

Account Growth & Expansion

  • Drive revenue growth across all SAP lines of business throughout customer lifecycle
  • Lead Integrated Account Planning to expand SAP footprint with involvement of all relevant LOBs
  • Strategically engage SI partners to maximize account potential
  • Proactively identify customer problems and propose SAP solutions
  • Create barriers to entry for competitors protecting SAPs customer base

Value Delivery & Adoption

  • Provide leadership around value management and value realization
  • Connect Value Engineering methodologies and business transformation practices to consulting delivery
  • Drive adoption and protection of premium support services (MaxAttention)
  • Influence and lead virtual teams of resources from various LOBs functions and geographies

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 7 years of business experience in Sales or Consulting with complex business software/IT solutions
  • 7 years of Large Account Management experience and leading account teams
  • Knowledge of SAP or Enterprise Software Sales (including Service and Support)
  • Experience with long-term planning of resources technology and account structure
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with high degree of creativity and innovation
  • Business level English: Fluent
  • Local language: Fluent Business Level
