SPECIAL EDUCATION EXTENDED YEAR PROGRAM PARAEDUCATORS Salary: FY27 hourly rate for current employees - $18.00/hour for new employeeDates/Hours: July 6 July 30 2026 Monday Thursdays at JFK Middle School 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m. - 3.5 Hours/Day Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Paraeducators to join our Extended Year this role you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs helping them maintain progress and achieve success during the summer session. You will work closely under the guidance and supervision of a lead classroom teacher to implement instructional activities and behavioral supports tailored to individual student Responsibilities:Direct Student Support: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide academic social and emotional support as directed by the classroom Implementation: Assist in the delivery of specific goals and objectives outlined in each students Individualized Education Plan (IEP).Instructional Assistance: Help students engage with lesson materials reinforce concepts taught by the teacher and adapt activities to meet the students unique learning Management: Support the teacher in maintaining a positive safe and productive learning will include additional time for an in-person summer program meeting and prep (date to be determined) If Hired: Must have acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS Fingerprint Background Checks prior to start of :There are no benefits with this temporary summer position.
