Description
OVERVIEW:
- Manages day to day operations of the department.
- Develops and manages the departments budget for specific projects and activities.
- Supervise staff and provides on-going performance feedback and addresses problems; hires orients and trains employees verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills.
- Manages relationships with vendors and/or outside consultants.
- Propose evaluates and implements special projects such as new system implementation and business process re-engineering.
- Directs and coordinates long range planning and evaluating; revises and implements written procedures.
- Acts as a liaison to other departments for the implementation of new projects.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in accounting computer science business or a related field.
- Five years project planning or related experience or a Masters degree with 3 years previous project planning or related experience.
