Do you enjoy producing appealing publications and promoting the integration of print and online media Are you known for your eye for good design Are you also stylish and structured Are you comfortable working with texts in English and other foreign languages Then we should definitely get to know each other. Agora Energiewende Agora Industrie and Agora Agrar are think tanks pursuing the goal of achieving climate neutrality by the middle of the century. We work closely with key players from politics business science and civil society. With around 180 employees at four locations worldwide we combine research dialogue and public relations in our daily work. We publish our findings in numerous studies and other publications and we also operate a well-visited website and social media channels. We operate independently and free from economic or party political interests. Our team is international; we communicate internally and externally mainly in English. Our funding comes from grants from foundations and public institutions.

Graphic designer (m/f/d) with a focus on data visualization
Permanent position part-time or full-time (at least 32 hours per week).
You will be part of a dedicated and collegial team and work closely with colleagues from other departments. Your work will be characterized by a working environment in a non-profit organization.

You will be part of a dedicated and collegial team and work closely with colleagues from other departments. Your work will be characterized by a working environment in a non-profit organization.
Your responsibilities include
- Creation of infographics and data visualizations for offline and online channels with a focus on clear and effective storytelling;
- Independent typesetting and design work for print and online applications presentations and social media content;
- Coordination of the production process with our scientific project managers and external service providers (proofreading external typesetting etc.) including quality control;
- Ensuring the consistently high quality of our design products;
- Image research and rights acquisition;
- Integration of publications into our Typo3-based website and
- Maintenance of our corporate design in all applications.

With your confident and engaging manner you will support the adherence to deadlines and formal requirements in collaboration with all project participants. You will maintain an overview even in challenging situations and contribute to the quality of our design products through your structured approach to work. Working independently and collaborating collegially within a team are a matter of course for you.

We are looking for:
- Completed degree in graphic design communication design information design or a comparable qualification;
- Several years of experience in graphic or information design ideally with a focus on data visualization;
- Very good typesetting skills and a keen sense of design typography and visual hierarchies;
- Experience with UI design and content management systems (e.g. Typo3) desirable;
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
