Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Travel to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance and emergency service
  • Performs new machine installation commissioning and customer training
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and communicate effectively with customers
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through high quality service levels prompt execution and customer follow up
  • Acts in a professional courteous and business-like manner to enhance the company in the market place

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School education is required
  • A minimum of 5 years working with mechanical equipment
  • Extensive Travel up to 75%
  • Ability to work up to 12 hours at times
  • Availability for occasional weekend work
  • Understanding of Hand Tools and mechanical techniques
  • Computer Literate
  • Some technical writing skills
  • Ability to read Schematics Diagrams and Technical manuals
  • Must be able to function well in an unsupervised position
  • Must have a valid driver license
  • Must be able to discuss technically complex issues with non-technical persons
  • Good organizational skills particularly on site are critical

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment will be communicated during the interview. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.


The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors including skill set experience location qualifications and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards.
