Job Summary
The AI4X Postdoctoral Fellowship supports outstanding early-career researchers who leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate breakthroughs across science technology engineering and mathematics including medicine (STEM). Through the AI4X-PDF we seek to nurture the next generation of research leaders working at the intersection of AI and STEM driving innovation and strengthening Singapores AI-for-Science ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to conduct the following research works
Develop and optimize multimodal LLM/MLLMs for downstream tasks (adaptation alignment evaluation).
Design multi-MLLM collaboration methods (knowledge transfer/distillation federated learning).
Build efficient training/benchmark pipelines and report results with clear metrics.
Apply these methods to heart disease modeling using multimodal clinical data.
Work with PhD students and research staff to solve related research problems; oversee and report project progress.
Job Requirements:
Preferably PhD in Computer Engineering Computer Science Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Independent highly analytical proactive and a team player; strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong publication record in top venues (e.g. CVPR NeurIPS TPAMI TIFS).
In-depth knowledge in multimodal LLMs federated learning and heart diagnostics.
Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research formulate hypotheses and design effective experimental plans.
Strong programming skills with deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch).
