Your future duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Power BI/Snowflake Developer with strong experience in modern data engineering and BI development. The ideal candidate should excel in Snowflake DBT and Power BI and be comfortable engaging directly with business users to gather analyse and translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop optimize and maintain data models and data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
Design and implement scalable Power BI dashboards reports and datasets.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to capture requirements clarify needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Ensure data accuracy reliability and consistency across reporting layers.
Implement best practices for SQL ELT/ETL workflows and BI solution design.
Troubleshoot issues optimize performance and support production systems.
Work effectively during EU shift hours to support cross regional teams.
Document processes architecture and data flows for long term maintainability.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
57 years of hands on experience in BI data engineering or analytics roles.
Strong expertise in:
oSnowflake (architecture SQL performance tuning data pipelines)
oDBT (data transformations modeling testing)
oPower BI (DAX Power Query data modeling visualizations)
Excellent communication skills both oral and written; must be able to interact confidently with business users.
Proven ability to gather and understand business requirements and convert them into technical designs.
Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail and data quality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with AWS Data Services or cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for analytics.
Exposure to Agile methodologies.
