As an Analyst within the European Corporate FX & Interest Rate Sales Team you will partner with colleagues to deliver tailored FX and Interest Rate risk management solutions to corporate clients in France and BeNeLux. You will collaborate with Investment Banking DCM Trading and Structuring to offer a comprehensive suite of products. You will thrive in a team that values diverse perspectives encourages professional development and empowers you to drive meaningful client outcomes. Your role will help shape the future of our business and strengthen client relationships.
Job responsibilities
- Provide direct sales coverage to corporate clients across France and BeNeLux.
- Market and sell FX and Interest Rate derivative products including spot forwards options and M&A hedging solutions.
- Develop and deliver structured solutions in partnership with trading and structuring teams.
- Collaborate with Investment Banking DCM and Corporate Finance to deliver integrated client offerings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships focusing on their risk management needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate thoughtful trade ideas.
- Support the team in achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Stay current on market trends and product developments.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to a positive inclusive team culture.
- Mentor junior team members and share expertise.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Enquiring mind perseverance and ability to handle large amounts of information.
- High technical ability in FX and Interest Rate products.
- Confident technical skills in FX and Interest Rate derivatives.
- Previous sales experience covering corporate clients.
- Ability to understand and price simple and complex derivative products.
- Able to engage confidently with people at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and adaptability.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Self-motivated with skills to seek out new client opportunities and generate trade ideas.
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate reliability.
- Team-player personality.
- French language proficiency.
- Experience with M&A hedging products.
- Familiarity with cross currency basis and inflation derivatives.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field.
