POSITION: Long Term Substitute Teacher @ Rogers High School (Middle/Secondary Special Education Teacher certification required) Rogers High School seeks a daily substitute teacher to instruct Special Education Resource classes.2/12/2026-6/30/2026REPORTS TO: Principal QUALIFICATIONS:1. Middle/Secondary Special Education Teacher certification required 2. Evidence of developing teaching strategies that will address the unique needs of each student;3. Ability to know and utilize technology in the teaching and learning process;4. Demonstrate ability to perform the responsibilities below as evidenced by course work education experience teaching educational experience and the interview process;RESPONSIBILITIES:Support Special Education students utilizing the School Departments curriculums and other appropriate learning activities;Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student;Translate lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize the available time for instruction;Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom;Evaluate students academic and social growth keep appropriate records and prepare progress reports;Communicate with parents through conferences and other means to discuss students progress and interpret the school program;Identify students needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health attitude and learning problems;Create an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive displays bulletin boards and interest centers;Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district and self-selected professional growth activities;Select and requisition books and instructional aides maintains required inventory records;Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned working day;Administer group-standardized tests in accordance with district testing program;Demonstrate an understanding of standards-based education and how it is implemented in the classroom;Participate in curriculum development programs as required;Participate in faculty committees and the sponsorship of pupil activities;Perform such other duties as assigned by the principal and/or OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Diem/ $175 dayAPPLICATION Apply online at .
