The Opportunity

ACCIONA delivers complex transport and social infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand including major road rail and water projects. Our work strengthens communities by improving mobility resilience and long-term asset performance. The Asset Management and Maintenance position leads and implements strategic Asset Management to ensure performance compliance safety and optimise whole of life asset Management principals.

As the Asset Management and Maintenance Engineer you provide technical leadership to optimise asset lifecycle performance. You manage asset data accuracy champion ISO 55001 processes lead maintenance strategies oversee condition assessments and support performance reporting.

The role works closely with the small team to deliver high-quality compliant and cost effective asset outcomes over the maintenance concession period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term asset strategies aligned to lifecycle optimisation

  • Lead ISO 55001 compliance and quality system planning

  • Develop and implement strategic and innovative asset management solutions

  • Establish and report on asset performance

  • Undertake inspections to determin asset condition data KPIs and service reporting

  • Lead revision of Maintenance Management and Works Plans

  • Liaise with consultants and subcontractors to ensure delivery

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong civil asset management and maintenance experience

  • Strong digital competency with key AM platforms

  • Knowledge of highway O&M in high-density traffic areas

  • Proven stakeholder and relationship management

  • Strong communication and reporting skills
