DescriptionThe opportunity
The Operations Support Manager role reports to the National Service Delivery Manager and is accountable for supporting the Telco NZ operational teams in the delivery and performance of reactive maintenance operations and built/project delivery for all Downer telecommunications customers (fixed line mobile wireless engineering services).
This leadership position ensures strong and consistent operational performance meeting customer requirements and optimising resources ensuring Downer are delivering safety productively meeting service levels and financial thresholds while managing stakeholders expectations and satisfaction.
The role is Monday to Friday working out of our Auckland office however will consider candidates based in Wellington or Christchurch.
What youll do
Successfully managing the Operations Support team by ensuring it operates in the most efficient cost-effective manner to support the Business Group and meet our customers needs.
Supervising the activities of support staff to achieve performance targets and provide continuity of service
Providing an optimised resource model through line balancing nationally and across functions to leverage the support network resources
Developing coaching and leading team members to enhance skills and increase and capability of the Operations Support network
Ensuring that we meet all KPIs and SLA targets in line with our business objectives
