Position Overview

Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa is seeking professional energetic and guest-focused individuals to join our Valet & Bell Services team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests Valet & Bell Attendants create exceptional arrival and departure experiences while serving as knowledgeable resources throughout each guests stay.

This role includes valet parking bell services and hotel shuttle operation responsibilities.

Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate plus tip potential.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Hospitality

  • Promptly greet guests with a warm professional welcome.
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors and assist guests with luggage and personal belongings.
  • Provide information about resort services amenities dining and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with directions taxis and rideshare coordination.
  • Deliver guest items amenities and gift bags as requested.
  • Maintain a friendly polished and professional demeanor at all times.

Valet Parking Operations

  • Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
  • Accurately complete key tags claim checks and vehicle documentation.
  • Securely store and organize guest keys.
  • Direct traffic in valet lanes and parking areas to maintain safe and organized flow.
  • Monitor driveways to prevent congestion and ensure guest safety.
  • Follow all traffic laws safety regulations and resort policies when operating guest vehicles.

Hotel Shuttle Operations

  • Safely operate the resort shuttle vehicle with or without guests on board.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
  • Transport guests to approved destinations in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist guests entering and exiting the shuttle including loading and unloading any guest items.
  • Conduct routine pre-shift vehicle inspections and ensure all regulatory and maintenance requirements are kept current including oil changes state inspections and other required servicing.
  • Keep the shuttle vehicle clean well-maintained washed fueled and guest-ready at all times.
  • Promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Team & Operational Support

  • Support team members during peak arrival and departure periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of valet areas and entrances.
  • Accurately handle valet payments when applicable and follow cash-handling procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding traffic flow guest needs and operational concerns.

Qualifications

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required).
  • Ability to safely operate both manual (standard) and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Comfortable operating a shuttle vehicle in varying traffic and weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat cold wind rain snow).
  • Ability to stand walk run bend and lift up to 50 pounds throughout a shift.
  • Flexible availability including days evenings weekends and holidays.
  • Previous hospitality valet or customer service experience preferred but not required we are willing to train motivated individuals.
