We are seeking a dependable high-energy Hot Line Cook with proven hot line experience to become a key part of our kitchen. This position is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure takes pride in consistency and presentation and enjoys working as part of a tight fast-moving team.
Key Responsibilities
- Read prioritize and execute tickets quickly and accurately during high-volume service
- Confidently operate grill sauté fry and broiler stations
- Prepare and cook menu items to exact recipes portion sizes and plating standards
- Maintain speed without sacrificing quality or food safety
- Communicate clearly with expo prep cooks and fellow line cooks to ensure smooth ticket flow
- Anticipate needs during rush periods and restock station proactively
- Keep workstation clean organized and fully stocked at all times
- Follow all food safety sanitation and temperature control guidelines
- Assist with prep work inventory rotation (FIFO) and end-of-shift cleaning
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous hot line or grill experience in a restaurant or high-volume kitchen
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
