Job Summary:
The Licensed Master Social Worker provides social work services within a hospital setting working in all areas of the hospital including Colby and Pacific Campus. This role involves acute care and discharge planning/care coordination requiring strong experience in these areas.

Responsibilities:
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gather and report data.
- Carry out orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Perform selected patient registration activities.
- Coordinate equipment/supply needs.
- Notify appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
- Perform any other related duties (e.g. clerical technical duties) as assigned.
- Work in all areas of the hospital including Colby and Pacific Campus.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- SW Licensure
- Acute Care Experience
- Discharge Planning/Care Coordination Experience
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Diverse CM experience (Med Surg LLOS ED)
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines etc.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float between like units.
- Must work every other weekend.
- RTO must be included at the time of submittal.
Scheduling:
- 5x8 Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 week period
- Start date: ASAP
