Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience : 5.5 Years
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of backend/API development experience preferably in telecom or digital services.
- Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot Quarkus) or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs TMF standards GraphQL and API Gateway solutions.
- Hands-on experience with OAuth2 JWT encryption and secure API practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Git Swagger/OpenAPI Postman and automated testing frameworks.
- Solid coding debugging and database integration skills.
- Strong understanding of telecom business feature enablement.
- Experience working in Agile environments and API lifecycle management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs supporting MTN One Mobile features (recharge bundle purchase MoMo transactions account management).
- Integrate APIs with internal systems (billing CRM identity catalog) and external partners.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with product and architecture teams.
- Develop secure high-performance APIs aligned with MTNs digital roadmap.
- Apply secure coding practices and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and maintain unit integration and performance tests.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Maintain API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) and version control.
- Implement observability (logging metrics tracing) and optimize API scalability.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
