About the role
Are you ready to lead the realtime operation of one of Canberras most critical infrastructure systems Evoenergy is looking for a Power Systems Operations Manager to guide the safe secure and reliable performance of our electricity network as it evolves through major industry transformation.
As a senior leader within our Asset Management Group youll be at the heart of how our network operates today while shaping what system operations will look like tomorrow. This is a unique opportunity to influence strategy strengthen operational capability and drive readiness for a future built on automation increased Customer Energy Resources (CER) and an emerging Distribution System Operator (DSO) model.
In this pivotal position you will oversee Evoenergys real-time operational control network readiness and resilience and emergency management capability. Youll ensure the network operates within safe limits under all conditions safeguard critical operational systems and data and act as a key decision-maker during significant events. This role plays an essential part in how we manage operational risk support major incidents and integrate new assets and technologies into live service.
