Our skilled nursing facility Business Office is seeking a part-timeresident-focused Collections Concierge to support residents and their representatives from admission through discharge. This role blends hospitality and collection coordination with a strong emphasis on Medicaid awareness application and private pay collections.
Key Responsibilities:
Bill monitor and collect private pay accounts monthly and ongoing following procedural policy maintaining accurate collection documentation while demonstrating drive comfort and confidence collecting outstanding balances (statements)
Serve as the primary financial point of contact for residents and their representatives from admission through discharge to include attending interdisciplinary staff meetings (meet w/ them at admission ongoing)
Coordinate track and follow through on all components of the Medicaid application process including documentation and deadlines on Medicaid eligibility and financial options under the guidance of a Lead
Cross-training to offer coverage and support for Business Office
Qualifications:
Associate Degree and/or Minimum of two years of collections or equal experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft and Organizational Software Applications
Positive communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle sensitive financial discussions with professionalism and empathy
Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience helpful
