Job Summary:
The FallManufacturing Engineer Co-op will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department with production activities. Primary work involves using SolidWorks CAD software to design tools and fixtures for manufacturing.

The FallManufacturing Engineer Co-op will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department with production activities. Primary work involves using SolidWorks CAD software to design tools and fixtures for manufacturing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Student enrolled in a four-year degree program majoring in Engineering who has completed their freshman year of college.
- Experience: Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Must be willing to work 3 or more rotating semesters.
Other functions include:
- Tooling and production method development
- Material storage analysis and improvement
- Collection and analysis of labor / machinery productivity and efficiency data
- Machine tool set up reduction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
- Experience in or knowledge of metal cutting
- Experience in or knowledge of metal cutting processes / machinery.
