Job Summary

As Manager - Libraries & Community youll lead a passionate skilled team to deliver high-quality inclusive services that respond to community needs and support Councils strategic goals. Youll have the autonomy to shape direction the influence to drive change and the support to lead improvement across a valued public service.
What youll be doing
- Leading the delivery of the District Library Strategic Plan and translating strategy into action
- Setting clear priorities through business planning performance measures and KPIs
- Driving continuous improvement service innovation and operational efficiencies
- Building and nurture strong relationships with communities partners and stakeholders
- Creating an environment where people feel supported motivated and empowered to do their best work
- Developing high-performing resilient teams and coaching leaders for success
- Working collaboratively with senior leaders across Council to deliver integrated outcomes

- Strong people leadership skills including coaching performance management and team development
