Are you a dedicated Project Manager with a passion for project excellence Join Sunwater as a Project Manager where youll play a vital role in managing Eungella Dam Kinchant Dam Teemburra Dam including the Burdekin Moranbah Pipeline. Eungella Water Pipelines and associated assets. You will manage the safe on time on budget delivery of high-quality outcomes for Sunwater projects related to new or existing infrastructure services.

As a Project Manager at Sunwater you will:

  • Work closely with regional operations teams to plan schedule and deliver high quality outcomes for major maintenance and works programs required to support the region.
  • Manage effective and efficient project delivery including performance monitoring and reporting cost control stakeholder engagement project documentation risk management construction planning and management commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate preparation and management of contracts for the engagement of contractors and consultants develop the necessary approvals required for delivery of projects and monitoring performance to ensure safe high-quality outputs.

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in bulk water delivery infrastructure heavy industry infrastructure or similar. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Project Management or Engineering and have 5 years experience in a similar role managing the delivery of multiple projects. You will also bring:

  • PMBOK Methodology: Experience in designing implementing and maintaining PMBOK framework to maximise value and ensure project excellence
  • Strategic vision: Ability to design and deliver project program portfolio improvement strategies and programs
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership including the Board and executive leadership team

This role is based in Mackay with a requirement for regular travel across the region. This role offers an array of attractive benefits including:
