About the Role
Werelooking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a strong platform engineering mindset to design build andoperatethe foundational systems that power our products. This role blends deep infrastructureexpertisewith software engineering discipline to create scalable resilient and developerfriendly platforms.
Youllpartner closely with engineering teams to evolve our platform architecture improve reliability and accelerate delivery through automation observability and thoughtful system design.
Key Responsibilities
Build and evolvemultiple distributions ofKubernetes platform.
Build automation and toolingto streamline deployments configuration and environment management.
Drive reliability practicessuch as SLOs error budgets incidentresponses and postincident reviews.
Developgolden pathsfor service onboarding CI/CD and platform usage across all K8s variants.
Implement observability systemsincluding metrics logging tracing and alerting.
Collaborate with product and engineering teamsto ensure platform capabilities meet evolving needs.
Optimizeperformance and capacityacrosscompute storage and networking layers.
Champion infrastructure-as-codeand modern cloudnative patterns.
Driveautomation-first operationsusingIaCandGitOps.
Leadincident response RCA post-incident learning and improve on-call health.
Partner with security teams to enforce platform guardrails policy and secure defaults.
Lead complex troubleshooting effortsacross distributed systems and production environments.
Mentor engineersand contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
8 years in SRE DevOps or platform engineeringwith handson ownership of production systems.
Expertisein Kubernetes and container orchestrationat scale.
ProficiencywithIaCtoolssuch asTerraformAnsibleandCloudFormation.
Solid programming skillsin languages such as Go Python orBash.
Deep understanding of distributed systems networking and Linux internals.
Experience building CI/CD pipelinesusing tools likeGitlab runnersGitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Strong observability backgroundwith Prometheus GrafanaOpen Telemetry or similar.
Proventrack recordof incident managementand improving system reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing internal developer platformsor platformasaproduct models.
Experience in OpenShift Titank8sandRobin.
Knowledge of eventdriven architecturesand streaming systems like Kafka.
Security engineering familiarityincludingsecretsmanagement and compliance frameworks.
Contributions to opensource projectsin the cloudnative ecosystem.
