Job Summary
As an influential senior individual contributor within the Oracle Cloud organization you will play a critical role in shaping and executing community relations strategies to navigate complex regulatory policy and geopolitical landscapes. This multi-faceted role focuses on both internal and external stakeholder engagement. You will drive engagement with policymakers industry associations etc. to advance Oracles data center objectives ensure compliance and promote our leadership in responsible business practices. Were looking for an experienced leader who will help protect and advance our business interests reputation and growth in diverse markets.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Analysis & Advocacy: Monitor analyze and report on relevant legislative regulatory and standards developments; identify opportunities and risks for the company.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with government representatives regulators NGOs and industry groups to influence sustainable policy outcomes.
Internal Collaboration: Partner with executive and cross-functional teams (legal compliance operations corporate communications etc.) to align on comprehensive strategies. This includes operationalizing environmental and sustainability projects that will serve our local communities.
Thought Leadership: Develop and communicate the companys position through white papers consultation responses briefings and public forums; actively contribute to Oracles external reputation as a leader.
Risk and Compliance: Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance with emerging regulations and voluntary commitments.
Reporting: Track and report on project status and performance; local public policy developments; engagement activities; and outcomes for executive leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Public Policy Environmental Science Sustainability Law or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 10 years of relevant professional experience including leadership roles in community engagement public affairs regulatory advocacy corporate sustainability or related domains
- Demonstrated experience in breadth of regulations ranging from local (zoning/permitting) to global standards frameworks and regulatory trends (e.g. ESG disclosure climate policy and circular economy initiatives).
- Proven track record of high-level stakeholder engagement negotiation and thought leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a large organization.
- Excellent communication strategy and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with local corporate sustainability reporting and disclosures
- Familiarity with digital transformation in sustainability or experience in the technology sector.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $115400 to $251600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus equity and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
