Atradius Collections is a business unit of Atradius Group which forms part of Grupo Catalana Occidente one of the leading insurers in Spain and worldwide in credit insurance.

Department Description

Being part of the Collections Central Control and Reporting Team and direct contact for stakeholders within business functions. The role will host the role of data definition data strategy data governance of data and reporting.

The Data Management & Reporting Manager will support the Management in decision making process and the Collections Unit Data strategy:

• Identify key data sources and drive loading those in the corporate Data Platform with the right governance and quality
• Serve data management and reporting needs of all functions to steer business using data platform
• Simplify reporting process by establishing standard reporting catalogue for business to steer their respective functions;
• Find ways to link data from different sources to produce a rich data suite that can be used for predictive collection methods and monetization of the payment data.
  

In this position your key responsibilities will be:

• Managing and overseeing all aspects of data reporting analysis governance quality and visualization to support decision-making processes across the organization
• Formulate a data management & reporting plan develop desired structure implement required infrastructure
• Develop and maintain data reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of business-critical information
• Responsible for the analysis of business requirements and translation of those requirements through new and existing applications
• Manage a team of Business analysts providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality output
• Identify and implement improvements in data collection storage and reporting processes
• Find ways to use data for predictive collection methods and to monetize the payment data

What qualifications should you have

Education and Knowledge:

• University degree in EconomicsData Science Statistics Computer Science or related field; Masters degree preferred
• Fluency in English a second foreign language is an advantage
• Advanced MS-Office skills experience with Power BI is a plus
• Knowledge of data management and infrastructure

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of working experience in process and change management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in people management
• Proven experience in data analysis reporting and visualization
• Project related skills to support projects and programs within the Unit
• Understanding of database management systems and data governance

Further requirements:

• Affinity to data statistics and excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to work with people from different countries / cultures
• Able to manage stakeholders and drive change in a complex matrix organization
• Flexible attitude towards ad-hoc requests and the ability to cope with a complex environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally ( international )
