Introduction

Are you passionate about strengthening community voice and shaping meaningful public engagement Lewisham Council is seeking a Consultation and Engagement Lead to provide expert guidance drive highquality engagement activity and ensure resident insight informs Council decisions.

About the Role

As the Consultation and Engagement Lead you will provide legally robust expert advice to services across the Council ensuring engagement activity is accessible representative and impactful. You will develop and manage the Councils engagement framework tools and processes lead priority campaigns and promote best practice across the organisation. The role also includes evaluating engagement activity producing highquality analytics and supporting strategic partnership work to strengthen collaborative approaches across Lewisham.

Were looking for a skilled consultation and engagement professional with extensive experience leading highquality engagement programmes and applying a wide range of methods effectively. The ideal candidate will be confident advising on complex policy statutory and legal requirements while ensuring GDPR accessibility and equality compliance. They will bring strong analytical and evaluation skills to interpret data and demonstrate impact alongside excellent stakeholder management and the ability to work collaboratively with partners senior leaders and diverse communities

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House Catford but will require working from locations across the borough along with hybrid working from home.

Special conditions

Occasional evening and weekend working is required for this job

Salary

55353 - 57495 per annum (P05)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) which is subject to evidential proof.
