Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and diligent Planning Process Lead to join our this key role you will manage our routings and BOMs planning processes. You will focus on operational excellence and ongoing improvements across our supply chain and manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will show strong leadership skills analytical thinking and a dedication to optimising our planning frameworks to improve efficiency and support business goals.
Lead the development implementation and continuous optimisation of routing and BOM planning processes across the organisation to achieve outstanding results!
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between planning manufacturing and supply chain functions
- Analyse current planning methodologies and find opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
- Build and maintain routing structures that support production scheduling capacity planning and cost optimisation
- Coordinate the configuration and maintenance of routing data within enterprise systems ensuring accuracy and consistency
Develop and deliver training programmes to ensure collaborators understand and effectively utilise planning processes
- Monitor important metrics related to planning accuracy lead times and resource utilisation
- Collaborate with collaborators to gather requirements and translate them into process improvements
- Conduct root cause analysis on planning issues and implement corrective actions
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management on process performance and recommendations
- Lead change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of new planning methodologies and systems
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards and guidelines in planning operations
Qualifications :
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain manufacturing or operations planning or equivalent
- Proven expertise in routing and structure build optimisation and management within IFS & or SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Proficiency in process modelling and documentation techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis and pivot tables
- Proven project coordination skills capable of handling several initiatives concurrently
- Demonstrated people skills and ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Organised approach to work with meticulous attention to detail
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP Oracle or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Background in change management and process transformation initiatives
- Experience with supply chain planning tools and advanced scheduling software
- Familiarity with manufacturing or process engineering principles
- Certification in project management or process improvement fields
