The Position

Plan International Canada is seeking a highperforming Manager Donor Payments a strategic and operational leader who will oversee the organizations endtoend donor payment ecosystem. This role carries significant responsibility for ensuring the timely accurate and compliant processing of all donations received across Canada safeguarding both donor trust and organizational accountability.

Reporting directly to the Director Finance & Audit you will bring deep expertise in managing largevolume payment and donation processing environments while providing thoughtful leadership to a team that plays a vital role in fueling Plan International Canadas mission. You are an experienced peopleleader who excels in operational execution continuous improvement and crossfunctional partnership.

What success looks like

  • Provide oversight of the accurate timely and efficient daily intake and processing of all Canadian donations across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Oversee depositing reconciliation and maintenance of donor payment records ensuring the highest level of CRM data integrity within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with fundraising finance accounting and operations teams to enable effective donor stewardship and organizational decisionmaking.
  • Lead mentor and empower a team of eight fostering a culture of service excellence accountability and continuous process improvement across all donor payment activities.
  • Manage all operational processes ensuring that transaction flows approvals reconciliations and controls meet corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies financial controls and compliance requirements including PCI standards and data security protocols.
  • Serve as the internal Salesforce subjectmatter expert for donor payments guiding the team on best practices troubleshooting developing automation opportunities and championing system enhancements.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities for process optimization automation and risk mitigation reducing manual touchpoints and elevating accuracy and efficiency.

As our ideal candidate you will have:

  • A bachelors degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in payment processing donation processing or similar highvolume transaction environments.
  • Experience in the notforprofit sector is an asset.
  • Demonstrated success as a people leader with the ability to coach motivate and support highperforming teams.
  • Strong technical aptitude including experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and advanced analytical and Excel skills.
  • A proactive flexible and highly organized approach along with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong customerexperience orientation with an understanding of how payment operations contribute to donor stewardship.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels internal teams crossfunctional partners and external vendors.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and capacity to meet stringent reporting and processing deadlines.
  • A commitment to fostering a diverse equitable and inclusive team culture.

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $64000 and $80000. We comprehensively evaluate a variety of factors to determine fair compensation including experience specific job-related skills and relevant educational or professional training. Additionally we ensure that compensation is equitable across our team and aligns with current market trends. This role also qualifies for an extensive benefits package and generous paid time off.
