Role description:

Arcadis isseekingan experienced andforwardthinkingSenior Stormwater Program Manager / Senior Engineer to lead complex stormwater management and green infrastructure (GI/GSI) projects across the Seattle regionand western Washington. This role will oversee planning design permitting and delivery of innovative urban water resilience programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams municipal partners and communitystakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings deep technicalexpertise proven program leadership experience and an understanding of regional practices particularly those aligned with Seattle Public Utilities (SPU)and similar organizations.

Role accountabilities:

As a Senior Stormwater Program Manager / Senior Engineeryou will lead the planning design and permitting of stormwater management and green infrastructure projects from feasibility through construction while managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery within scope schedule and budget. You will direct collaborative and alternative delivery programs for municipal stormwater and GI initiatives aligning project outcomes with broader urban resilience and sustainability goals. As a technical expert in stormwater systems natural channel design low-impact development (LID) and green stormwater solutions you will guide project approaches and provide oversight on stakeholder coordination with partners such as SPU community groups regulatory agencies and design consultants. Additionally you will mentor engineering and project management staff offering strategic direction and quality review and support business development through proposal preparation client relationship management and program growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

RequiredQualifications:

  • MastersDegreein Civil Environmental Landscape Architecture or Water Resources Engineering or relatedfield.
  • 1015+ years of experience in the planning design and permitting of stormwater management and green infrastructure (GI/GSI) projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success leading collaborative delivery and alternative delivery programs for municipal stormwater and urban resilience projects (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working in Seattle with Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) King County and similar clientson GI natural channel design or similar programs.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State.
  • Strong understanding of local state and federal stormwater regulations andpermittingpathways.
  • Excellent leadership communication andclient facingskills.
  • Background in sustainable water infrastructure climate resilience and nature-based solutions.
  • Experience managing large multiyear capital programs.
  • Familiarity with Washington State Department of Ecologyand localstormwater manuals.
  • Ability torepresentthe organization in technical conferences workshops and community meetings.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
