About the position

The Finance Intern (Customer Support)position at Gulfstream Aerospace is designed for students pursuing a degree in Business Finance Accounting or a related field. The intern will work closely with the finance team toassistin various financial processes including monthly closing management financial statements preparation and continuous improvement initiatives. This roleprovidesan opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting within a leading aerospace company.

Responsibilities

Partner with the finance team toassistin the monthly closing process including journal entries and account analysis.

Assistwith the preparation ofmanagementfinancial statements and design financial reports.

Provide value-added analysis and drive continuous improvement recommendations.

Understand key businessunitoperating metrics and measure performance against established metrics.

Perform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting asrequired.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor ormasters degree in Business Finance Accounting or a related curriculum.

Knowledge of Excel Power BI SharePoint and other Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.

Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Must be able to work at least40 hoursper week for a minimum of12 weeks.

Other Requirements:

Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher.

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume.

Minimum duration: 1214 weeks (summer); 1416 weeks (spring and fall).

Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.

Must have reliable transportation.

This job requires one to be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
