Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) / Pharmacy Technician
Location: Essex
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 6-month maternity cover
We are currently seeking an experienced Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) / Pharmacy Technician to support a pharmacy in Essex on a maternity cover basis.
Key Details
Days: Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays
Hours: 12:00 18:00
(There may be flexibility to consider 2 full days instead of 3 half days)
Duties & Responsibilities
Over-the-counter duties
Answering telephone calls
Carrying out controlled drug balance checks using an eCDR
Handling general patient enquiries
Supporting the pharmacy team with day-to-day operational tasks
Requirements
Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification essential
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
Confident organised and patient-focused approach
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ACT looking for a stable medium-term role with some flexibility around working patterns.
