Job Summary
- Job Title: Laboratory Technician
- Job Type: Permanent
- Days and Hours: 37.5 Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
- Location: Ellesmere Port
- Salary 24784.50
- Analyse samples in accordance with appropriate analytical test procedures and within customer requirements and where appropriate record results
- Accurately entering laboratory test data into relevant IT system
- Unpacking samples and recording the items onto database
- Report any Quality or Health and Safety issues the Laboratory Supervisor
- At all times adopt a safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself colleagues and clients in line with the companys policies and procedures
Qualifications :
We are looking individuals who are keen to pursue a career in laboratories no previous laboratory experience is required - this is an excellent entry level position.
Skills & Knowledge
- Able to consistently follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to organise and prioritise workload
- Able to work under own initiative and with a high degree of autonomy & maturity.
- Computer literate showing an ability to use IT systems.
Experience
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced work environment meeting exacting process and client demands.
