Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our College community on a full time fixed term basis. This is a leave replacement position for Term 2 2026.

Reporting to the Head of Learning Drama this role will teach Unit 1/2 Theatre Studies in addition to Drama subjects across Years 5 to 9 in a collaborative and progressive environment.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
Demonstrated outstanding classroom teaching skills across years 5 11 (preferred)
Experience in teaching VCE Unit 1/2 Theatre Studies would be an advantage
Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning
Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes
An active contributor to a collegial work environment
Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College
