About the Team
The Centre of VU Transitions (LND Support) sits within VU TAFE and provides highquality Literacy Numeracy and Digital (LND) learning support to diverse learners across Melbournes west. Our team works collaboratively with vocational educators to enhance student achievement through tailored LND support.

About the Role
Victoria University TAFE (VU TAFE) is seeking sessional LND teachers specialising in Literacy Numeracy and/or Digital Skills. These roles involve delivering highquality foundational skills support to diverse cohorts developing resources and working with vocational staff to identify learner needs and enhance outcomes.

Key Duties
Deliver learnercentered LND support in Literacy Numeracy and/or Digital Skills.
Develop and adapt LND learning materials for diverse adult learners.
Collaborate with vocational teachers to identify and respond to LND support needs.
Maintain accurate attendance progress and compliance records.
Contribute to continuous improvement of LND resources and teaching practice.

There are Two roles available:

Salary:Teaching $98.34 per hour; Nonteaching $63.29 per hour plus superannuation
Employment Type: sessional
Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week
Location:Footscray Nicholson

About You

About You
We are seeking passionate LND educators committed to supporting diverse learners. You will bring:

  1. Bachelors degree in a relevant LND field with a specialisation in either Literacy Numeracy or Digital/ICT and minimumtwo years relevant teaching experience.

  2. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or VIT registration.
  3. A Training and Assessmentqualification:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) with Address Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy Skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401); and Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502 TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B).
  4. Experience delivering learnercentered support to diverse adult cohorts.
  5. Strong communication teamwork and problemsolving skills


The University is a Child Safe willbe requiredto hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
