The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Public Health Division (PHD) is recruiting to an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Deputy Public Health Director. As a key member of the executive leadership team this position acts as second-in-command and trusted advisor to the State Public Health Director with full authority to perform all statutory functions in their absence.
In this pivotal role you will lead division-wide strategic planning oversee statewide public health initiatives and drive efforts to eliminate health inequities across Oregon. You will ensure that science and community needs guide program direction foster strong partnerships with local and Tribal health authorities and maintain constant awareness of emerging public health risks and opportunities.
This position manages the Policy and Partnerships Unit shaping legislative strategy administrative rulemaking and statewide accountability systems that influence the future of Oregons public health system.
