As an Electrical Engineer Intern you will be responsible for supporting the product line within the Airborne RF Electronics Department. You will be working as a member of a team that supports a production program under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney and/or Plano Texas.
This position is a 100% onsite role.
What You Will Do
- Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/power circuitry and interfaces.
- Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces.
- Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met through use of SW (MATLAB) tools.
- Updating and documenting FPGA designs
- Modification of DevSecOps pipelines.
Qualifications You Must Have
- This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelors (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum entering their Sophomore standing level by the start of Summer 2026
- Must be pursuinga Bachelors or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in troubleshoot and finding solutions.
- Experience with coding.
Qualifications We Prefer
- ABET is the preferred although not required accreditation standard. A 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
- Must at least be a sophomore by the start of Summer 2026 in Electrical Engineering
- Basic understanding of electronics.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and managing priorities on multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers of various experiences and who represent a variety of work and conflict resolution styles.
