Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Warehouse Manager located in Guadalajara North Campus.
Report to the Director Materials. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for Implement a successful operation by managing all distribution warehouse functions. Provides materials equipment and supplies by directing receiving warehousing and distribution services supervising staff.
What a typical day looks like:
- Maintains receiving warehousing and distribution operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with local warehousing material handling and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
- Coordinate floor cycle counts physical inventory and reconciling records.
- Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in materials management Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) systems or a related field.
- Fluent English (Written & Spoken).
- Experience in metal-mechanical manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge of BAAN or similar systems for inventory and materials management.
- Ability to oversee warehouse operations including receiving assorting and efficiently organizing materials.
- Proficiency in cyclical counting and understanding the impact of poor inventory management processes.
- Familiarity with 5S methodologies promoting continuous improvement and maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse.
