Job Summary: The Finance intern gains hands-on experience with our finance team. This internship will work in cooperation with finance management to aid in the completion of day-to-day issues as well as support projects as required. This position requires a motivated and excited individual working towards an applicable degree. Essential Functions: - Data entry and related procedures for Accounts Payable as needed (daily / weekly)
- Review or prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for support on a monthly basis
- Assist with daily cash reporting
- Input monthly forecast to ERP for consolidation
- Perform intercompany sales/receipts reconciliation in Excel
- Assist with departmental cost reporting on a monthly basis
- Ad hoc requests as required (e.g. asset tagging in facility)
Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibility Minimum Qualifications: - A student working on a degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Investigatory and problem-solving skills
- Able to work with multiple different individuals and on numerous different teams
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Relatively proficient in Microsoft Office products
Education & Experience - Working towards an applicable degree
- High School diploma or GED
Background Prerequisites: Must undergo and meet company standards for background check employment verification reference checks physical and controlled substance testing.
