About the Role
Our client is a leading global financial services organisation with a significant presence in Poland. Theyre seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Product Control division in Krakow supporting critical regulatory compliance work. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in financial services working on high-impact projects whilst building relationships across international teams.
Position Overview
Youll support the Product Control Change Manager by producing high-quality project analysis and documentation that ensures regulatory compliance across trading operations. Your work will focus on analysing P&L data exceptions improving governance processes and managing the resolution of data quality issues through clear documentation and testing. Youll collaborate closely with Finance IT and Traded Risk teams to confirm requirements resolve exceptions and hand back clearly documented processes to the business. This role is central to maintaining compliance standards and supporting the smooth operation of trading desks across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed project analysis and documentation aligned with business transformation frameworks
- Analyse P&L Explain data exceptions and identify root causes of discrepancies
- Improve governance processes for adjustments made by Product Control teams
- Manage resolution of data exceptions through documentation solution agreement and testing
- Liaise with Finance IT and Traded Risk teams to confirm requirements and document processes
- Support the Product Control Change Manager on project delivery and stakeholder management
- Influence business heads and technical experts to drive data quality improvements
Requirements
- Prior working knowledge of Markets and Securities Services operations
- At least two years of project delivery experience preferably in data quality and governance
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle management and business transformation frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify patterns and resolve complex data issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
- Delivery-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Part-qualified accountant status is desirable
