About the Role

This newly created Senior Financial Analyst role sits within the Flutter APAC Finance team based at Sportsbets Melbourne office. It is a rare opportunity to work across multiple markets partner with senior global stakeholders and help shape the financial future of an exciting fast growing region.
You will play a key role in the consolidation and management of APAC financials. This includes month end close forecasting budgeting long term planning and strategic modelling. You will bring sharp analytical skills exceptional attention to detail and the ability to tell the story behind the numbers.

What Youll Do
- Month End close: Manage and coordinate the APAC month end process Consolidate financial data into management presentations Support P&L Balance Sheet and CapEx commentary & Liaise with UK Finance partners.
- Financial Modelling: Lead financial modelling across brands products and regions Analyse variances against budget and forecast Model risk opportunity and scenario impacts & Support strategic projects and M&A analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Consolidate budgets and forecasts for APAC Prepare analysis for presentation packs Provide accurate performance updates to leaders & Support long term planning alongside Strategy and Finance.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leaders across Sportsbet Junglee and Flutter International Influence decisions using clear commercial insights & Work crossfunctionally to align financial outcomes.
- Process Improvement & Transformation: Improve and streamline finance processes Support APAC transformation initiatives & Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analysis.
- Reporting and Analysis: Deliver high quality weekly monthly and adhoc reporting Identify trends and performance drivers & Support product investment and commercial decisions through analysis.

You are an experienced Accountant or Analyst who enjoys diving into numbers modelling scenarios connecting data points and influencing big picture decisions.
