Were looking for an experienced Intermediary Conduct Consultant to support the development implementation and ongoing improvement of our intermediary conduct frameworks policies and controls. This role plays a key part in promoting best-practice conduct and professional standards across our broker and partner networks ensuring strong customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Youll work closely with stakeholders across the business including Risk Legal Consumer and Business teams supporting governance processes and helping drive meaningful change in response to regulatory and conduct developments.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the management and maintenance of the Vero Intermediary Conduct Register
- Provide secretariat support to the Vero Intermediary Conduct Committee including coordinating meetings documenting outcomes and tracking actions
- Assist with the documentation and reporting of conduct issues and initiatives to leadership teams and relevant Suncorp NZ forums
- Assist with the review and administration of the Intermediary Conduct Framework ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements
- Support the development of delivery plans in response to regulatory and conduct changes
- Contribute to the oversight and review of broker and partner conduct controls practices and regulatory compliance
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify training needs and support the delivery of effective training solutions
What youll bring:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the General Insurance industry (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of insurance sales and operational practices (mandatory)
- Experience in conduct compliance or risk (desirable)
- A strong commitment to good customer outcomes and high-quality delivery
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-specialists
- Proven ability to influence negotiate and collaborate effectively
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills
- High attention to detail with a confident and decisive approach
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and identify opportunities for improvement
- The ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority across Suncorp NZ
