Job Summary
Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking part-time Personal Care Attendants (PCA) for the AM shift!
$20.00 per hour benefits eligible
This is a new position working 6:00am-11:00am on a 3-on 3-off rotation.
The primary functions of aPCA are:
- Help residents with personal hygiene dressing bathing and other daily living tasks
- Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity
- Monitor resident activity and functional status
- Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort
This is apart time position and we are looking for two people. (On-call/PRN may also be available)
Minimum qualifications are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based)
- Ability to life 150 pounds
Employment requirements include:
- Physical
- TB test
- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice
