The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 expected
Leading on teaching and learning within the Music provision
Driving high standards in performance composition and theory
Supporting curriculum development and assessment strategies
Overseeing concerts productions ensembles and enrichment activities
Coaching and mentoring colleagues within the Performing Arts department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a closely related subject
Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level including KS5
A strong track record of excellent pupil outcomes
Experience leading initiatives or contributing to departmental leadership
High expectations for musical excellence and student engagement
