About the role
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will take full end-to-end responsibility for payroll across multiple markets while also coordinating payroll activities in additional international locations.
In this role you will ensure accurate compliant and timely payroll delivery both through in-house payroll execution and by coordinating with external payroll providers. You will play a key role in safeguarding payroll quality ensuring alignment with local legislation and company policies and driving continuous improvement in payroll processes.
Working closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners you will proactively resolve payroll-related matters provide expert guidance and contribute to a seamless and professional employee experience across markets.
Some of your key responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll for assigned markets including preparation validation execution and post-payroll activities
Coordinate with external payroll providers where payroll is outsourced ensuring data accuracy adherence to timelines and high service quality
Ensure that payroll inputs such as salary changes bonuses absences and deductions are accurately processed
Perform payroll reconciliations and controls to identify investigate and resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements
Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate payroll documentation and provide support during audits when required
About you
We are looking for someone with relevant education within payroll and 35 years of hands-on payroll experience who feels confident managing the full payroll process independently. You have built a solid foundation in payroll operations and are now ready to take on a broader role with greater responsibility and complexity.
As a person you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can prioritize effectively and meet deadlines without compromising on accuracy. You are structured detail-oriented and efficient while also being a collaborative team player. You take initiative are solution-oriented and feel comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone when needed.
Requirements:
Relevant education within payroll
35 years of experience working with end-to-end payroll
Fluent in Swedish and English
