The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVDC Digital Transformation Manager to lead and drive the digital transformation initiatives within our HVDC business unit. This role will be pivotal in shaping our digital strategy optimizing processes and fostering innovation to enhance our competitive edge.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute the HVDC digital transformation roadmap aligned with Hitachi Energys strategic objectives.
- Identify assess and implement innovative digital technologies (IoT AI/ML cloud analytics digital twins) to enhance product development execution asset management and customer service.
- Lead cross-functional teams to analyze and re-engineer HVDC business processes for greater efficiency and quality through digital enablement.
- Collaborate with R&D Engineering Operations Sales and IT to ensure smooth integration and adoption of digital tools and platforms.
- Manage a portfolio of digital initiatives including planning resource allocation budgeting risk management and stakeholder communication.
- Foster a culture of digital innovation and continuous improvement through training workshops and bestpractice sharing.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks for HVDC digital transformation.
- Define and track KPIs to measure impact and ROI providing regular updates to senior management and acting as a change agent across the organization.
Your background
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Computer Science Business Administration or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- 810 years of experience in digital transformation IT consulting or technology leadership ideally within energy industrial or complex engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of HVDC technology power systems or heavy electrical infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Proven success leading complex digital initiatives from strategy to full implementation and adoption.
- Deep knowledge of Industrial IoT AI/ML cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) data analytics digital twins and automation.
- Experience with agile methodologies and modern project management tools.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
- Strategic analytical and resultsdriven mindset; ability to drive cultural change and innovation in large organizations; proficiency in English (Swedish is an advantage) and willingness to travel internationally.
