Location: Springdale AR
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Day & Night (must be comfortable working both)
Work Schedule: Flexible including weekends and nights as needed
Pay Rate: $21/hour (W2)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional for an entry-level fleet operations role. This position offers hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of fleet and dispatch operations. The selected candidate will work closely with an experienced supervisor to develop a strong understanding of dispatch coordination load management driver support and fleet logistics.
Assist with daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient coordination of fleet drivers
Manage unassigned loads and monitor load progress to support on-time delivery
Address driver safety concerns and resolve operational issues occurring outside standard business hours
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including load planning shuttle and regional operations
Support weekend night and daytime dispatch operations as required
Contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
Education:
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience:Minimum 6 months of recent long-haul dispatch experience required
Knowledge & Skills:
Familiarity with DOT regulations preferred
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and email communication
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn lead and support team success
Additional Requirements:
Flexible availability including nights and weekends
No travel required
