Job Summary
The Senior Accountantreports to the Accounting Managerand will be a key member of the NAIP Accounting team they will work in collaboration with the NAIP accounting team and NAIP finance team. Candidate must be a self-starter adept at communicating with multiple levels of an organization and have the ability to build trust influence and work with teams cross functionally.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare month end JEs
- Review month end JEs
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Support inter/intra company reconciliations
- Support audit requests
- Support internal controls and documentation
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Consolidate and optimize month end procedures
Requirements
- Accounting degree
- Masters degree preferred
- Experience preparing account reconciliations and JEs
- 5 years of accounting experience including month end close
- Offshore Team experience preferred
- Process Improvement experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Large ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics SL a plus)
- Strong Excel skills
- Attention to detail
