The Senior Product Owner will support the eCommerce platform and related cross-functional teams. This role focuses on managing and prioritizing the product backlog translating business needs into actionable user stories and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.
The position requires strong communication stakeholder management and the ability to operate effectively in a complex matrixed environment while driving product delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog with clearly defined user stories ready for development
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions
- Define new product features and enhancements incorporating them into the product roadmap
- Develop and document product vision scope use cases workflows and supporting artifacts (wireframes/mockups)
- Coordinate with support teams to resolve defects and ensure product stability
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Communicate product vision priorities and trade-offs to business and technical stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations and influence decision-making across competing priorities
- Provide transparent updates on backlog status and evolving business needs
Operational & Functional Support
- Provide functional expertise to internal and external stakeholders
- Support day-to-day operations of MBB business and technical teams
- Monitor market trends and competitive insights to enhance product offerings
Execution & Leadership
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Manage multiple initiatives and aggressive timelines effectively
- Drive data-informed decision-making and strategic problem-solving
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- Minimum 6 years of experience in eCommerce
- Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred)
- Knowledge of SAFe framework (preferred)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Strong understanding of end-to-end eCommerce customer journeys
- Proven ability to convert business needs into functional requirements
- Demonstrated success working in complex fast-paced environments with ambiguity and tight timelines
