We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive who will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and expanding AWS adoption within the sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong business development experience with technology solutions proven ability to build strategic customer relationships and deep understanding of cloud computing fundamentals to promote strategic growth and shape the future of cloud computing and AI adoption in the sector.
Key job responsibilities
1. Strategic Account Ownership
Own and drive AWS adoption for 2-3 large enterprise accounts (conglomerates account such as CK Hutchison Jardine Matheson etc)
Develop account strategies with $50M revenue targets
Orchestrate complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving C-suite board-level discussions
Manage long sales cycles (12-24 months) with multiple decision gates
Lead complex negotiations involving multiple business units geographies
Structure creative commercial arrangements (enterprise agreements consumption
commitments)
2. Executive Relationship Building
Establish and maintain strong relationships with CxO-level decision makers
Navigate complex organizational structures and develop deep expertise across multiple verticals (retail logistics real estate telecommunications)
Position AWS as strategic partner not just technology vendor
3. Cross-functional Leadership
Lead virtual teams including Solutions Architects Partner teams Specialists teams (Migration Modernization GenAI Industry)
Collaborate with GCR/APAC/Global leadership on regional/global account strategies
Activate partner ecosystem (SIs ISVs) to accelerate customer success
Leverage AWS industry accelerators and reference architectures

- Experience delivering against a large organizations long-term strategy and goals
- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record
- Experience in enterprise scale infrastructure or development-based cloud programs/projects in a related industry
- 10 years of technology sales experience
- Understanding of Hong Kong business landscape and key influence. Experience with Cloud technology GenAI data analytics modernization strategies
- 5 years of sales team management experience
- Ex-senior executive from target customer industries with technology leadership experience
